Sanskrit Activity Day Celebration 2025
- As a part of sanskrit club kjiar, the sanskrit club kjiar first prof., K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized the “sanskrit activity day” on 03 October 2025, from 09 am to 11 am at 11 Number Room, K J Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli.
Subhāṣita Vyākhyā(Explanation of Sanskrit Proverbs): Students explained selected Subhāṣitas (wise sayings) in Sanskrit and English. This activity helped them understand moral teachings and improve their oratory skills. - Nāṭaka(1) – “श्रमः एव यशः” (Drama – Hard Work is Success):
A short Sanskrit play was presented by students emphasizing the value of hard work and dedication. The performance reflected their fluency in spoken Sanskrit and dramatic expression. - Nāṭaka(2) – “गरबा प्रेमिणः” (Drama – Garba lovers):
A short Sanskrit play was presented by students Showcased cultural harmony and festive spirit, adding an element of joy and tradition. - Kāvya Paṭhanam (Recitation of Sanskrit Poems):
Students recited self-composed or classical Sanskrit poems with correct pronunciation and rhythm. This activity enhanced their appreciation of Sanskrit poetry and prosody. - Prahelikā (Riddles in Sanskrit):
A fun and interactive session where students asked and solved Prahelikās (riddles) in Sanskrit. This promoted logical thinking and language comprehension. - Kathā Vāchanam (Story Narration in Sanskrit):
Students narrated short moral stories in Sanskrit. This activity encouraged creativity, confidence, and practical use of Sanskrit in storytelling.
Street play on Drug safety Awareness program
As a part of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations and Drug Safety Week (pharmacovigilance week), Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishjya Kalpana, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized a street play on “Drug safety Awareness” on 22nd September 2025. The event was aimed to spread awareness regarding the safe use of medicines and the importance of reporting adverse drug reactions (ADR). The aim was to educate both students and the community in a creative, impactful and easy to understand manner. The event was organized at Central state transport bus depo, Vadodara. The enthusiastic students of 2nd year BAMS who perform street play very well.
The event was graced by the presence of the chief guest Dr. Jayprakash Soni (BJP President, Vadodara), Mr. Dharmesh Pandya (managing trustee, KJIAR), who appreciated the initiative and highlighted the importance of pharmacovigilance in ensuring patient safety.
The audience gained awareness about the importance of pharmacovigilance and its direct impact on public health and safety. The street play helped in simplifying a complex medical concept and making it understable to the common people. Students developed communication, teamwork and presentation skills through their active participation. The event was highly appreciated by the chief guest and audience, marking it as a successful initiative towards public health awareness. The program was a significant contribution to the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations and highlighted the commitment of K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, towards promoting the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda in modern society.
“Moong: Nature’s gift for Nutrition” Recipe competition 2025
The department of RSBK was successfully organized a competition on “Moong: Nature’s gift for Nutrition” Recipe competition 2025 on 19/09/2025 at seminar hall, KJIAR. The event was aimed to promote healthy eating habits and showcase the nutritional as well as culinary versatility of Moong. Single use of Mudga was not favourable for all invidual/child but this type of innovative recipes made more palatable and acceptable to a wider group. The event was planned to encourage students to explore innovative recipes using Moong while highlighting its medicinal and dietary importance in ayurveda. The Judges of this event was Prof. (Dr.) Sarat Vasudev sir, Mr. Devang Shah sir and Dr. Sunita mam. Active involvement of around 160 students and 20 faculties. Students prepared a variety of innovative recipes using Moong such as Moong Chilla, Moong Dhokla, Moong Sandwitch, Moong Taco, Moong Kabab, Moong Chat, Moong Appam,Moong Dalwada etc. Each participant presented the nutritional values, health benefits and importance of recipes. Chief guests appreciated the creativity, innovation, presentation and explanation of ayurvedic significance by students. Motivational slogans and banners emphasizing the theme of Ayurveda dietician for holistic health.
Ayurveda Awareness Program at IOCL Gujarat Refinery
On 23rd September 2025 at 4:00 PM, the K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli, organised a special program at Spandan Hall, Gujarat Refinery, IOCL Vadodara, on the theme of Awareness and Outreach of Ayurveda among the Community. This initiative was held as per the special request from Gujarat Refinery, Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Rally for Ayurveda – 10th Ayurveda Day 2025
The Department of Agadatantra, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli, successfully organised a Rally for Ayurveda on the occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 under the theme “Ayurveda for People and Planet”.

Street Play on Organ Donation on 21st September 2025 at Inorbit Mall, Vadodara on 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration-2025
The Department of Rachana Sharir, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized a Street Play on Organ Donation on 21st September 2025 at Inorbit Mall, Vadodara.
The event was conducted as a part of the 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration 2025 and also to mark the birthday of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The street play aimed to create awareness among the public about the importance of organ donation in saving lives and promoting the noble cause of humanity.
Students of the Rachana Sharir Department actively participated and performed with enthusiasm, delivering strong messages through drama, dialogue, and creative expression. The performance received wide appreciation from the audience, spreading the message of social responsibility and the role of Ayurveda in holistic health.
This activity reflected the institute’s commitment towards community health awareness and aligned with the vision of promoting Ayurveda and public welfare.
Exhibition cum Mini Expo (Prakriti parikshan) on 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration-2025
As a part of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations, Department of Kriya Sharir, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized Exhibition of mini expo (Prakriti parikshan) on 18th September 2025.The event was aimed at spreading awareness and promoting Ayurveda among the community. The activity commenced from Vikash Vidhayalay Gotada, Svali. Models (Vata, Pitta and Kapha) and posters both are showing the significance of importance of Ayurveda in daily life. Participants completed Performa interacted with ayurvedic experts or trained students to identified their prakriti. BAMS Students showing models and posters highlighting the preventive, promotive, and holistic aspects of Ayurveda.
Student Wellness Activities on 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration-2025
As a part of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations, Department of Swasthavritta, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized a Yoga session on 18th September 2025. The event was aimed at spreading awareness and promoting benefits of Yoga and meditation among high school students. The Yoga session was arranged esp for the exam going 10th and 12th class students of Sanskarbharti Vidyalaya. The session included various Asanas for enhancing the concentrating power and memory of students. The yoga session was then followed by a meditation session . students experienced improved flexibility and calmness of mind.
Health Talk on 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration-2025
As a part of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 celebrations, Department of Swasthavritta , K.J.Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, organized a Health talk on 18th September 2025 at Sanskarbharti Vidyalaya. .The topic for health talk was NUTRITION AND LIFESTYLE IN ADOLESCENTS. It was arranged in a high school in Natwarnagar area of Savli taluka. The students of class 9 th , 10 th , 11 th and 12 th attended the session. The health talk aimed to educate adolescents about the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits. The talk covered essential aspects of adolescent nutrition and inculcating lifestyle changes for prevention of lifestyle generating diseases in future.
On the Occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 | Community Health Initiative | Medical & Wellness Camp – Ayurveda
As part of the 10th Ayurveda Day celebrations, the Department of Kayachikitsa, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli, organized a Free Medical Camp on 13th September 2025 at Ranipura Village under the leadership of Dr. Adarsh, with the dedicated support of interns Rakshit Patel, Arth Patel, Vidhi, and Anjali.
Over 40 patients benefited from free Ayurvedic consultations & medicines with personalized treatment plans provided based on Ayurvedic principles followed by Awareness sessions on lifestyle diseases, diet, and hygiene practices.
The camp aimed to spread preventive healthcare awareness, offer accessible Ayurvedic services, and strengthen the bond between Ayurveda and the community. Villagers actively participated, making the initiative a success.
The program enhanced awareness of Ayurveda, enabled early detection of chronic illnesses, and provided interns with valuable community exposure—reflecting the spirit of “Ayurveda for People and Planet.”
On the Occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day 2025 | School Outreach Program – Interactive Session on Ayurveda
On the occasion of the 10th Ayurveda Day Celebration 2025, the Department of Samhita Siddhant & Sanskrit, K.J. Institute of Ayurveda & Research, Savli, organized a School Outreach Program – Interactive Session on Ayurveda on 15th September 2025 at S.B. Pandya Auditorium.
A total of 88 girl students along with the Principal and 7 faculty members from Adarsh Nivasi School (Residential Government School for Girls, Savli), actively participated in the program.
The session began with a welcome and felicitation of the school Principal, followed by engaging talks:Dr. Shridevi T. N., Associate Professor & HOD, explained Dietary Rules in Ayurveda (Ahara Vidhi Vidhana) in a simple and interactive manner.

Dr. Abhit Shah, Assistant Professor, delivered a session on Basic Principles of Ayurveda.

The initiative effectively introduced Ayurveda to young students, promoting awareness about holistic health and sustainable lifestyle practices in line with the Ayurveda Day 2025 theme – “Ayurveda for People and Planet.”
Fire Safety Drill
A Fire Safety Training and Mock Drill was organized by Kashiba Ayurvedic Hospital, Savli for its Staff and Students. The session was conducted by Dr. Hrishikesh Gaitonde. The Session involved complete information on How to manage the various types of Fires with different type of Extinguishers.. The speaker also briefed on the various types of Firefighting equipment like alarms, hose pipes, sprinklers and the areas where they should be used. A demo of how to evacuate the patient was also shown. The staff was also briefed on the various ways fire starts in a hospital and what is the role of each person who would detect fire. The emergency response team was re-sensitised. The session ended with hands on training on operating fire extinguishers. The audience had specific and enhanced knowledge on how to handle a fire in the Hospital
