Awareness Program on Health Education
An awareness class to educate the young generations on importance of health and their responsibility to prevent the communicable diseases in current scenario. The program was conducted in K J Polytechnic campus, Savli for the newly joined students and the class was conducted by Dr. Abhishek Acharya of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research. They were educated on the regular routine to be followed based on Dinacharya and rtucharya told by Ayurveda. The preventive aspect- swasthya rakshana of diseases by consumption of immunity booster medicines, abhyanga, nasya etc. Students understood the possibilities of Ayurveda and through them their family also get benefitted.
Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration
To commemorate the 152 nd birth anniversary of the Father of our nation- Mahatama Gandhi and in the memory of our 75th independence day with the vision of building a new Aatma Nirbhar Bharat, K J Institution of Ayurveda organised a series of events with the students and faculty of KJIT Campus on 01-10-2021. On the occasion, floral tribute offered to Gandhiji followed by Rally where kids were dressed up as freedom fighters, art & craft, speeches, songs and drama on patriotism were conducted. The truthmania encouraged both students faculties and other staffs to realise the feel of contentment being honest. The function throw light on young generation the importance of moral values and the responsibilities being an Indian citizen.
Medical Checkup Camp K J Vidhyamandir
On 25-09-2021 free medical camp was conducted for students in K J Vidya mandir savli. The 3 team members of K J Institute of Ayurveda and Research including 2 doctors and 1 nurse screened 108 students of the age group 11-17 years for general health status. Conditions like common cold, asthma, pallor and tachycardia were noticed and provided free medicines from KJIAR Hospital. It also created awareness among the students and staffs on major role of Ayurveda in maintenance of health.
Awareness About Kuposhan (Mal Nutrition)
A free medical camp was conducted under the program community based event 'POSHAN Abhiyaan' on 20-09-2021 in the KJIAR Hospital, Savli. A team of 2 doctors, 2 nurses and third year BAMS students involved in screening children of age group 1-6 years. The areas covered are sector Vadia PHC Savli Taluk and gramapanchayats namely Muval, Ranipura, Dhantej, Mevli and Dipapura. A total of 41 children were screened and observed under weight, shunted growth and 3 children of M.A.M(moderate acute malnutrition). Counselling for parents and free medicines from KJIAR Hospital were provided. An awareness class was organized on the same day at KJIT Campus with the cooperation of ASHA workers. Guest speakers Dr. Dhara Ben Joshi Child development Officer , Kirit Bhai Taluka Panchayat Pramukh and doctors of KJIAR delivered speeches on importance of physical and mental growth in children and balanced nutritional supply.
Awareness Program-life Style Management Through Ayurveda
An event was organized in K J Vidyamandir on 08-09-2021 by KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli as a part of series of programs planned by the India government on the occasion of celebrating the 75th anniversary of India Independence. The awareness campaign included speeches of final year students of K J Ayurveda College giving special reference to AYUSAMVAD, Ayurvedic regimen and lifestyle management through Ayurveda. Higher secondary students were benefitted and they expressed their gratitude to the institution and the campaign also inspired them to think of selecting Ayurveda stream in future as their profession.
Plant Donation
'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsava' was celebrated with 'Medicinal Plants Distribution' campaign on 03-09-2021 by K J Institute of Ayurveda And Research to promote cultivation of medicinal plants in Savli. Under this campaign, the medicinal plants were distributed by the consultants of our Hospital to 25 patients from Savli. The plants includes Ashoka, Shatavari, Guduchi, Ashwagandha, Shankhapushpi etc. This campaign emphasized on publicity of medicinal plants among general public in rural areas.
Awareness class for KJ Vidyamandir
Our country is celebrating the 75th anniversary of India's independence. To celebrate this, a series of events have been planned by the Government of India under the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi.
As part of the year-long celebrations, the following activities was held in K.J Vidyamandir school to make students aware of AYUSAMVAD, Ayurvedic regimen and lifestyle management through AYURVEDA by students of K. J. Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli, Vadodara. Higher secondary students were benefited by the event and expressed their gratitude for the same.
Swarna Bindu Prashan
Department of Koumarabhritya (Balrog) of KJ Institute of Ayurveda and Research, Savli Vadodara conducted "Swarnamrutha prashana" program on the auspicious nakshatra of Pushya (Saturday) september 4 2021, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. Swarnamrutha prashana was administered to eligible Children aged 0-16 at free of cost.
A total of 210 children's were examined and administered with 2 drops of swarna bindu. The program was a grand success as it benefited both child and parents. Students and expert doctor carefully done screening of children along with proper diagnosis and treatment.
Free Medical Camp
Under the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative KJ INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA and RESEARCH, Savli, Vadodara (Gujarat) conducted free medical camp in Kashiba Ayurveda Hospital on September 5 2021.
The camp turn out to be a huge success as a total of 175 patients got benefited. The camps made sure people are getting healthcare at the right time, and seeing the doctor early enough before a small health problem turns serious through thorough screening and inter-department co-operation.
